Horse School Services
The ‘Horse School ’ introductory programme is a 6-week course aimed at children who are at risk of being excluded from mainstream education for a variety of reasons, including but not exclusive to: challenging behaviours, emotional trauma, Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs), and other physical and mental disabilities.
Horses are sentient beings, and they have the capacity to read human body language and mirror our emotions in a non-judgemental way. We use the innate abilities of our horses to work with children and young people to help them to develop self-awareness, and enhance their life skills so that they feel re-energised and better able to integrate into society.
The course is split into 6 modules, each lasting 90 minutes. We follow our own syllabus and can tailor courses to suit individual needs, so we are able to be as inclusive as possible. At the end of the course, each participant will receive a certificate of achievement to document their learning.

Follow-on courses can be arranged, and these can also be tailored to individuals and small groups. If the syllabus shown here doesn't suit your needs - please do get in touch and we can work with you to develop something suitable for you and/or your clients' needs.

Courses are run on Thursdays and Fridays during school hours and clients are provided with personalised support, working in small groups as appropriate.
